Windows 7 Home Premium

Hi,

I am looking for a copy of 'Windows 7 Home Premium ' as I have struck a problem that I need to repair my copy without going through the formatting of the hard drive etc. My computer is a HP and they in their wisdom created a rescue section / partition on the hard drive and can only be used after the reformatting is done but there is to many programs / information to do that. I did purchase an upgrade to make it the 'Professional' version which I have. I don't think that HP ever considered the hard drive failing which would negate their original thoughts so if you have upgraded to Windows 10 I would be interested in your copy.

What I am wanting to do is as per this video on Youtube.: https://youtu.be/RC_5eb9wTfk

If there is another way to get the same result I would be interested in looking into it.

Your help would be appreciated as when your an old fella this is very distressing,

Cheers,

Jeff

Hi John,

That seems to be the way it's done now which is/ can be a problem when you need the disc.

Thanks anyway,

Jeff
