Crocodiles feasting on Beef in Namibia

SOME villagers in the Caprivi whose settlements are submerged by floods are also being deprived of their livestock by crocodiles which are devouring cattle caught in the flood waters.

Villagers around Ikaba and at Nakabolelwa have lost dozens of cattle during stealthy attacks involving the water predators which can float like logs on water as they prepare to pounce on unsuspecting prey.


Cattle are grazing in water-logged pastures because of the floods.
