Cameroon

Hunting Lord Derby as primary..have buffalo and others on quota...I never set it up, my friend Troy did all the planning to this point so not positive other than I was told yesterday by the booking agent we had buff on the list..

I plan to take one of my .375"s and call it good..figure its flat enough for longer shots on the Eland and still enough power if something with a nasty attitude comes about...

Buddy Keith will be taking either a .375 Ruger or a .375H&H with softs and solids, along an 8x68S. I don't know the bullet he'll use for the 8mm.

A friend that's been 8 times "lost" 3 rifles. I was told bring only one and make it something you love to hunt with but won't be heart broken if it disappears.

I'm taking a 9.3x62 shooing Barnes 286 x and Barnes 286 Solids, mounted with a Swaro 1.7-13x42 illuminated. Scope will go in the carry on. Spare little 2.5x20 Leupold in same QR rings in honor oh Phil.

I was planning on bringing a 375 but right before the visa and gun permit application my 375 experience a cracked stock. Only thing semi suitable file that was ready to go.

Really, really excited about harnessed bushbuck as well! Are you bringing fishing gear, the tiger fish and Nile Pearch are suppose to be mind blowing?

Yep all 3 lost in Cameroon. He has taken 6 Bongo, 5 Lord Derby Eland and 6 Mountain Nyala. When we talked about Buffalo he thought his number was close to 100. I think he is the reason these hunts are so expensive!

YOU reminded me I need to schedule my equipment on my Homeowners policy before I leave..

I have had friends who have had weapons show up 6 months later ,,but up to this point, never not shown up at all..guess I better watch them being loaded on the plane... that is both crazy and alarming...

And then people wonder why the hunting industry in Africa and other areas are now hurting...things like this certainly don't help...can stay here and go to Canada or Alaska and have jsut as much fun without dealing with this BS...Just say'n....
