A Hambusch shotgun

Lets see how this one goes down. Here is an unusual Hambusch shotgun.

Not a side by side, or an under and over but a three barrelled 20 gauge. Also available in 12 and 10 gauge.







Shotgun-Drilling
Cal. 20/76 with long barrels and an interchangeable short barrel for cal. 20/70 Triggerplate action with three times ejector and single trigger, This combination also
be made in cal. 10 and 12 gauge

Absolute junk mainly because an American did'nt design it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

However being a True Blue Aussie I wouldnt mind one in 12 gauge..

I got to handle an Italian version of this in the late 1970's. It was trimmed down everywhere possible, but it still felt a bit like a club...I want one anyway!

I have handeld the Purdey 20 bore fourbarrel shotgun (Displayed in the Long Room) and that was an amasing gun. It would be fun to compare the balanse between these guns.

Abbiatico & Salvinelli make a four barrelled gun - the Rombo - which is available in 28 gauge and .410

Boss & Co and John Dickson & Son have made three barrelled guns and Westley Richards recently had a three-barrelled Edwinson Green 12 gauge on their used gun list.
