My buddy Keith has talked at length with C. Boddington at the guide and outfitter's conventions- couple years in a row- last one this Spring in Vegas, I think. Keith liked him a lot - says much for Boddington - Keith's taste in friends is impeccable - after all, he's my Bud!.

49 seasons as a PH is an amazing feat. Not a lot of those guys left.

Now that is a life time in the African bush. The stories Coupe' could tell. I hope he writes and publishes a book about his life.

Neither is Boddington "African".
John Sharp seems to be quite a good guy, and a lot of his clients like him. I have chatted to him online from time to time.

I too have talked in person and on-line to Boddington..He was instrumental in who I hunted lion with back in 2008 in Zimbabwe...which is how I met the now late Ian Gibson..
Craig has always been really nice, hospitable and helpful in my discussions..personally think he is a great guy that has a ton of African hunting experience..120+ Safari's ...not too many have done that in todays world..Has he pissed some people off through the years? Absolutely, but respect him more because of it..not a "YES" man... IMHO
One of my bigger regrets of the last 10 years is Craig had invited me along on a hunt in S America that I was not able to attend..wish I would have made the time..chance that will probably never come along again...

Correction: he turned 65 this past spring.
He will be 67 when I hunt with him in 2019.
