Green River Rifle Works

I have a nice .58 cal. flintlock rifle rifle I built in the late 1970's using a Green River Rifle Works barrel made when they were located in Roosevelt, UT, USA. About 18 mos. ago, I did a search, and Lo & Behold! GRRW was in Australia! Last week, I tried to find their website again, and could not do it! Is GRRW out of business?? Anyone know??

You know that place is only 95 kilometres away and I have never been there.

I may have time this week and maybe should correct that!

That's weird! Just tried it again, works fine! Maybe the web-site is afraid of the ocean!?!!

Anyone else offer an explanation for this?

Hi - I was able to contact them and they are indeed in Aussie land. They do not make barrels and are a BP supply store only.

No - Green Mountain is not the same company as the old Green River Rifle Works.
