I think in the end you will need to take up the art of handloading if you need to feed a 'beast' regularly. But a source of loaded ammo can be useful, especially if trying out a new (and prospective) rifle. Have fun.

The 500 NE is 3" from Kreighoff. It is an upper grade with Rhino engraved on one side and Elephant on the other with two upgrades of wood as well as I added different sights and ivory front bead. I am a big fan of their shotguns as I own 5 of them in various configurations and highly respect them for their dependability, the basic reason for choosing this type of firearm.

I am a big time upland bird hunter in the midwest USA, but have always wanted to go on a Safari so I bought the double rifle to shoot a Cape Buffalo and possibly Hippo as well as hunt leopard and plains game while I am there.

I plan on going to Africa in 2007.

Have also been to Alaska 10 plus times and may take it back there to hunt Brown Bear.

What doubles do you have and what kind of Superior Ammo have you used?

Could you also recommend a place where I could purchase a letter cartridge holder (8-10) rounds for a 500NE?
