Here's a nice one I let get away. I made an absentee bid of $7k and it went for $7,700. Did anybody here buy it?

I bid on it too just hoping it fell through the cracks. You would have beat me though by a grand.
Perfect bolt gun IMO.

These Mauser factory 404's were bringing 11-12K not too many years ago. Rare to see them offered for sale these days. Jon Speed still owns the scoped example shown on page 406 of his Sporter book.
