This was on the Ruzi river in 2014.

The Ghosts of the Forest.

Thanks for posting.

I do say, I do want to hunt kudu again. I have one, missed one once, let a huge one walk by me another time, but do want to hunt them again.

No - we weren't hunting we were fishing for Tiger on the Ruzi river.

Nice to see a big wild [Zimbabwean] kudu and not one trapped behind a fence.

WOW - that is a LOT of crap to shoot through.

Like hunting moose up at Stewart Lake in the special late 'primitive' season. A huge difference is the moose are easily spotted against the white snow back-ground - unlike that bugger. WOW! nice set of horns.

Impressive kudu with horns clearly skywards, a real shooter.
Thanks for sharing, we need ideals. That way when hunting we can hope meeting such mythical trophy.
Spot on that's good to observe that quality strives out of enclosures.
Makes me thing that so far I haven't shoot a kudu, apart a sick one with the bow. So I hunted Africa 4 times, I am still looking for usual game such as kudu and waterbuck.
Thanks for sharing, the exact view one can see when hunting of a trophy evading us in real conditions.

I have had the good fortune to take two Kudu one with a longbow the other a recurve, the last one an old bull that was 51" in Namibia in 2013. They are truly magnificent animals.
Thanks for the video.
