Few small changes, latest program here:

BGRC Nationals

Plenty of inter-state interest, from east, west, and south! Should be a good weekend.

This shoot is on this weekend.

Anyone heading up for it?

Unfortunately even though I have a one way flexible ticket available and going to waste I won't be there.

The BGR Nationals was a huge success, four states fielded teams, and some 24 shooters toed the firing line during the course of events. The overall winner for the day was Kym Joyce from WA, while Victoria took out the teams aggregate. My only boast was gold in the Double Rifle championship, that little Jeffery .400 makes me a better shot than I deserve. Plenty of room for improvement in the other events!

A Rigby best sidelock with the Bissel 3rd bite, and an under-lever snap-action Woodward, were just a couple of notables in the very impressive gun-rack, though the highlight of the day was watching Hep compete with his 10-bore black-powder double, yee-hah!!

A full account including results will be posted here when the photos are sorted. Watch this space!

OK, here's the results for starters.

Big Game Rifle Nationals 2005: Results

We Territorians are gonna have to learn to take this target thing a bit more seriously!

Here's one of the three gunracks at the firing line:

Still don't have all the photos in yet, so more to follow....
