Not being a collector anymore but still had a soft spot for the Mauser .410b I have been looking to find one without being a toppriced collector item.
I was lucky here this evening. http://www.egun.de/market/item.php?id=5560096

That is really nice. According to Speed, that stock style was introduced in early 1940. If it has "BUG" proofs it was probably made between Jan 1 and April 1 of 1940. If it has the Nazi Eagle N proof, then probably made/proofed after April 1st when the new proof law went into effect.

Nice rifle, interesting second sn. Price is ok, the question is what was changed with the mag as being told in the description. Mm410B are not so rare in germany, even this one is an little bit rare because of late sn. Absolutely rare are the first series Mm410 with the "Feederle bolt/action" in germany.

I did also read the former owner had changed the magazin...but I can live with it. I just may find an original later. As I understand the MAS45 magazin actually fit the Mauser 410B.
I used to have a Mauser 350 einzellader. Ekstreme accurate.

Rigbymauser,
Congratulations. I got a 410B also. Mine came with a 5 shot and a 10 shot magazine stamped from factory....
I also got the akah mounts and scopes....
