Want to hunt banteng? Good deals available at the moment.

I spoke to an outfitter at the Melbourne SHOT Show and he asked if I knew of anyone looking for a banteng hunt. Good deals available right now.

Contact me for info if seriously interested.

I am not acting as a booking agent for this, just helping put together hunters and the outfitter for a good deal.

The deals are very good compared to the usual cost so enquire if seriously interested. A number of extra hunts available on Parks quota at short notice. Only for 2015 season therefore the big discount.

I hunted my banteng late November so if the outfitter and client is willing there is still five or six months to do such a hunt.

My trophy banteng from November, 2007. Yes ut was "suicide season" and I was hot!

.450 No2 Nitro Express.

Very humid as just prior to the start of the Wet. Late November, and hot. Thunder storms and showers every afternoon for short periods.

Most client hunts are done during Winter, ie June, July and August.

Back to the deal. I am not getting anything out of it, but if you want to hunt banteng, and can come to Australia in 2015, it is the time to do it. The extra hunts are due to the Park being reopened to hunting very late, and a full seasons hunts being available at short notice, ie May, for 2015.

I took my banteng hunt with Matt Graham in 2007 when Peter Davidson still had the concession from a cancellation. Matt and a friend were hunting together, and the friend couldn't make it. So Matt asked me if I wanted to fill in and so I went. Otherwise I too would have not had a banteng hunt either. Sometimes one has to act when the opportunity arises.
