I shot one of those the last time i was in Zim..they are a nasty creature..and one of the most cunning I have every hunted anywhere..impressive...

That's the thought I had when sleeping out in the open in East Africa in a swag as I tried to go to sleep, it wasn't lions eating me, or elephants stepping on me, it was the jaws of fisi clamping around my skull and being dragged off into the bush that kept me from falling asleep.

Camped out once in Mana Pools National Park and once lights went out they came within our camp. Later the buffalo came feeding around our bed roles . Not much sleep that night.
One of my favourite quarry ..
