I nearly rolled this bloke with the .358 NM after seeing his struggle to climb the hill.He never put his near size hind on the ground once.I have pics of him limping with both rears off the ground..he was given the chance to come good.If I see him again and he is worse off he might be a dog job. Being a sambar male he may never be sighted again though.
The hind/calf combo in the heavy Ti-Tree obliged by giving me the opp to photograph her.I took around 80-90 pics of the three deer and got some good ones.

He's certainly holding it up and it's withered above the knee joint compared to the other leg. Great pictures, as always, Gryph.

Guess he'd make a few sausages mate or some good jerky - Rip or Daryl might have a good recipe stashed away in their memory banks! Definitely something badly wrong in the near side rear end that's for sure. Awesome pics mate - too get in that close to sambar - legend mate! 93x64mm

I have some good close ups of a hinds face..I think they are good.I took a few from six metres away. I will post when I can get to a real computer and not this fkn phone.
