The apple tree

The wild apple trees are in so many out of the way places and Sambar find them readily, there are even wild apple trees in the Wonnangatta.
Anyway I observed this hind last night around 7.45 pm with the iso cranked.I missed all of her 'stand ups' due to very fast fading light.

Windfall apples and other fruit, always a drawcard for deer. Pity about missing out on her standing up. But that's the way it often goes. I am surprised at the photos you do succeed at though. Lots of hours in the bush I think.

I think he practically lives in the bush going by the pics!

Once again, another great one. Do you do any photo editing? Very little noise for a high ISO!

Looks like a real good crop of thistles as well.
I've been spraying mine today.

I dont edit unless to darken/lighten and reduce in size Ash.

I dont even have any program like P/shop at all.

A big heavy Manfrotto tripod helps no end! UI had it in my ute and took it as my usual light weight monopod was left at home.

Thistles? The place is a haven for them!
