broken bolt head
      #259125 - 17/01/15 07:40 PM

friday is "bluing day" so I did my job yesterday
when I remove the extractor from the bolt head of my Vergueiro sporter the bolt head fall in two parts. probably broken for a long time it was hold by the extractor I assume.

looks glass hard

my local replacement parts dealer sell vergueiro bolt heads for 29 euro what seems reasonable but dont have one on stock right now. do you think it will be worth to tig welding the bolt head together?

I would think it would be cheaper to buy one and most likely safer.

I'd get a new one and not even think about attempting a repair.
