.375 250gr Trophy BondedBear Claws?
      #25642 - 04/02/05 04:01 PM

I was just given two boxes of Federal .375 250gr Trophy Bonded Bear Claws for my birthday to use on a sheep cull hunt. I have heard mixed things about the 300gr TBC's. How do the 250gr's stand up?

You won't have any problems with that load, assuming it shoots well in your rifle.

I can't imagine how mixed the things you've heard were.

They're a premium bullet & your sheep will be impressed.

They're a terrible bullet....horrible....bad...send them to me and I'll see to it that they will find a good place to go.

vapodog, please stop being such a martyr. You've really got to start looking out for yourself. I'll help you out and take those bad, bad loadings off your hands.

Actually, I think you should remove those evil cartridges from US soil. Send them over the pond to me, and I'll dispose of them safely.

Seriously though, I have shot numerous big game both in Norway and in Africa with TBBCs, and in a 375H&H prefer them over Swift A-frames for example, due to more consistant results.
