Thanks for your comments. Is there any chance you could post or email a picture of the top of the butt (does that make sense?)? I an interested to see how wide this section is.

Fergus,

I don't have a photo of that I'm afraid, but it measures 45 x 140 mm at it's widest.longest measurements. If it helps, the rifle weighs 12 lbs (ish).
