Rockdoc I reckon thats a cheetah that has been dispossessed of its kill. Hyena have always been one of my favorites, how could you not love a face like that.

Claydog I stand corrected on a bigger screen!
At least they do look better to me than Baboons. They gave me the creeps when walking through the bush (armed ony with a panga) by myself and they would start barking in the trees...
Still, to watch a Hyena run, eechhh!

I still have the hide of one i shot in Zim a few years back--thinking of having him life mounted as that is how he was skinned..maybe do a combo..hyena with a stare off with the lion over a bait..just an idea anyway..
Have to say they remind me of a wolf..incredibly intelligent..
