a few late arvo pics

Bright late patchy sunshine and dark shadows makes it a pain in the arse for really decent pics.

I knew these deer were 'somewhere' in the area of 6 sq k`s and waited on them to show as they come out of the thick cover and cross the abandoned field to their feed area.

They look a lot like Rocky MountIn elk, except for the horns of course. Beautiful animals!
