Lovely looking rifle.

But the weight at 13lbs 12oz is way too much for a 500! Could the weight be a misprint?

That's true.. too heavy, weight seems more appropriate for a 577..have read around 11lbs is more the norm..give or take a bit...but a very nice looking double..

There seems to be a few misprints based on the pictures.
The safety in pics is not a stalking safety
There isn't tear drop

I have a VC in 500 NE has mustache reinforcements with H&H filets thats within 20 numbers based on s/n that has a longer LOP and it only weighs 11 lbs. mine doesn't have the level of engraving but it does have really nice English case colors.

Still a nice gun though.
