Staffan he has damaged it in velvet or imo he is an old stag that hasnt the testosterone to produce the quality of old,in other words he has 'gone back' There is no inner point on that long beam either.

That same patch has its share of what we call 'mongrel' stags and also its share of very shapely even stags as well.

Read years ago that is the right side antler is messed up the animal took damage to the opposite side of his body ..Not sure if that is accurate but remember reading that some time ago...

We hunted a mule deer stag for two years trying to find him during the season..we found him in the spring of the 3rd year..mtn. lion kill...but had 14 pts on one side and 11 on the other..interesting...
