Pre- and post-WW2 Mannlicher - Schoenauer screws are not interchangeable, even the tiny set trigger adjustment ones. Steyr changed the threads to metric when they resumed production in 1950. M-S srews are not likely to fit Brno rifles any how.

I didn't expect the BRNO and M-S screws to interchange and all my M-S rifles are pre-war. Regardless, do you know of any source for them? A gunsmith in Canada just quoted me a price of $120. to make one M-S DST adjusting screw. Ridiculous price.

#120.00 for a screw? That is outrageous.

What is the thread? 4-40, 4-48 or perhaps 5-40 5-48?
You can get the #4's in any length at any model air plane business.
Some carry 3's at well as 5's in a vaiety of threads.

Hi--the screw might be metric thrd--common sizes go down to ..16 mm which is appox .065th
Research small metric screws --you should find something to work
