Thanks Daryl, I haven't quit writing, only slowed down for magazine stuff.
I haven't seen the magazine yet. Did they run the custom corner piece I did on the Joe Smithson rifle? The editor wasn't sure if he would accept photos of a rifle that were taken outside, (rather than in a studio) and actually being used.

I truly hope they continue to issue this magazine. I was very Impressed with it. Always enjoy articles by Phil also. You sir are a very talented writer. Keep it up!

The issue is what the call a "One Shot" in the industry as it is the only issue of it's type, unless there is enough interest to justify more. The lever action issue was the same but enough folks, including the editor, expressed enough interest that they did a second edition.
I pushed long and hard to get this one done and if enough folks express interest I hope they will see fit to do another.

I enjoy your writing Phil. Rifle put out this Big Bore edition that I dutifully paid for. I wish Hand Loader would do the same with specific information about tricks and vagaries specific to large calibre hunting rifles. Information about annealing and other tricks to keep your often impossible to find brass in fighting shape would be appreciated.
