The tree climbing lions of Manyara ... Manyara was well known for its lions being able to climb years ago. I guess it shows, if you think you can, you probably can. I don't know where these photos come from, but the pride in a tree shows lions who do it regularly and as a choice. An amazing photograph.

I have read about lions climbing trees to avoid danger. Good to see the pic's.

I don't think it has been John. I saw this or a very similar pic in a magazine well before digital photography came in. Something similar was in a documentary I have seen.
