PCP, stunning and possible unique, canīt wait to hear more !! Great craftmansship shame you have that limit. Where are you in Europe ? I run a 23 grain .22 Bisley Magnum (the most accurate and consistent heavyish pellet I have found, at least in my rifle) at about 875 fps,
best
Mike

I don't know what to say....simply amazing... from the conceptualization, thru CAD...through absolutely stunning machining. An awe-inspiring job. You execution of the top and bottom ribs out of one piece is ingenious!!

Best,
Ron Vella.

Daryl, no regulator, I want to keep it simple. It is possible to get quite good consistency with a little tinkering with hammer and valve springs, transfer port size..
On my previous air rife I got 60 shots out of 210 bar fill with a maximum spread 27fps, but it has about 50% larger reservoir.
Mike, Iīm from Slovenia.
For all of you interested, here you can see the build from the beginning.

Thank you, PCP - I also found your thread on the air rifle forum - I had forgotten about that.
At the lower allowable power, you should do very well with your DR.
27fps is very good for a PCP considering you started full.
Well done.

This is a very precise & meticulous game, working with minute detail changes in shape and diameter of orifices, making huge differences when dealing with pressures such as 3,000psi.

that is simply amazing, what would it cost us for you to share the autocad program?

What he said, having access to a 4 axis machine center and a CNC lathe.. Would be fun
Though actually, i wouldnt mind trying to do a springer design, but the cocking force required to get decent power would probably be too much for I.

Wonderful work - seems almost a shame that it's an air rife with all the TLC you've put into this project.

Hello,
I've been a member for a while but haven't posted until now.
I want to show you my long time project, double air rifle I have been building since 2008.
It all started with CAD design.

Parts machining

Machining and soldering the barrels.

Barrels cleaned up and fitted to action.

Slowly coming together.

Forend and stock work.

And that's it so far. I hope it isn't inappropriate to post this here, it really isn't a nitro express, but should be good to stop a charging bunny.

What a great project on this older thread.

Damn, I can definitely appreciate that level of build quality, that's a great project and should be a very interesting collection piece.
I love the use of the hammers, I initially thought looking at them that you might have powered it by shotgun primers, but it appears to be a very fast fast opening valve done in a traditional way.
I like it a lot.

Very nicely done!
If I may ask some questions, you mentioned the bores are 22 cal, are they rifled and if so what is the twist? And what does the rifle weigh?

LRF- it you look at the barrel breachs, you can see they are rifled.
Holding the Ctrl button down on the keyboard and pressing the + key will enlarge the page to make "things" easier to see. Pressing the Ctrl button and pressing the 0 (zero) key will return the page to normal size.
This works on a PC. I don't know if it works on a MAC - likely not.
