This is the new lady in my life.

She's a 6yr old Large Münsterländer named Mindy. She came to me from near the Clare Valley in South Australia.

She arrived today and within about 20 minutes had become secure enough to make herself comfortable.

After about an hour of mutual sniffing and drooling she and Jasper, my 9 1/2 yr old English Pointer had come to an agreement and looked to be getting along.

Jasper is a bit aggressive with his sniffing (always has been), but she wasn't having any of that and put him in his place. She's got a deep voice for a lady.

It was funny to watch them facing off, faking left/right and then chasing each other around living room. Getting to know each other.
I've never seen a female dominance mount a male (albeit nutted).

I'm hoping I might be able to train her as a deer scent dog.
But in the meantime, she's a good lounge warmer.

Also good for making me get a bit more active when I'm feeling lazy.
