congratulation, you get it for a good price so there will be money left over for export. do you have a plan how to get it into the united states?
rifles for pinfire cartridges are allwasy rare and I see never more than 1- 3 over a year for sale.
this one is very special with the brass action what would be enough for a short carbine cartridge.
the peep sight is very strange. looking forward what for a cartridge it will be.

E1500 for the 8-bore double so far. No idea of its condition. Reading King Solomon's Mines again currently where three pairs of 8-bore doubles are featured.

Fromthe pictures, it looks like the butt has a lot of drop so the recoil may be fairly high compared to a morer straight stock.

My Husqvarna SxS with Lefaucheau underlever had right barrel rifled to 13 bore, .705" groove diameter, so taking a 16 bore brass case. The left barrel was 16 bore for paper case and modified choke.
I posted pictures of it, long time ago.

Gastine Rénette, maybe a 500 BPE once than smooth bored to 28 ga https://www.naturabuy.fr/Magnifique-Expr...em-9747995.html

such things were also done in great britain to hold the gun on a simple shotgun licence but very sad none the less. would be a nice basic gun to made a 28 bore express if you find someone who get a new rifling into the shotgun barrels.

My chart shows 32 bore being .526". I know of no ctg. even close, with the .50/70 being closest at .515".
In Europe, there was the 12.7x44r of Sweden

what ever there was - trust me - it was never used for a german made combination gun in the time from 1870 to 1900.
first generation breech loader with a metal (or paper) case use pinfire or center fire shotgun caliber. most time 28 ga and 24 ga but also 20 ga and 32 ga.
even the 11,15x50, x55, x60 and x65R LK blackpowder cartridges use a case that was developt from 36 ga shotgun brass.

12 ga pinfire by Fischer &Sohn in Lübeck, they don't show the muzzle but the double had a rear sight so could have one or two barrels rifled

My 1902 model 20 Husqvarna 16 bore had both front and rear sights, yet it was straight rifled in the right tube, 13 bore (.705" groove to groove) yet chambered a brass 2 1/2" brass case to shoot a large enough ball. The left barrel was chambered identically and used a 2 1/2" paper case.
