I picked up a new Chapuis C10 in 375 H&H Magnum FLANGED a while back and have yet to track down any quality snap caps or quality brass.
Any advice?
I live in Sydney.

Sounds great.

I bought new Bertram brass. Had snap caps with rifle.

Maybe John Saunders has snap caps?

Look forward to seeing some info.

I am currently chasing some RE15 to go along with AR2209 loads.

Cheers, Chris

Thanks Chris,
Have you found the Bertram brass of acceptable quality?

So far. Typically need to uniform flasholes and maybe ream primer pockets, like most brass nowdays.

Certainly looks better than what i am seeing with Win, Rem brass etc. Have had tight primer pockets in Hornady 450/400 brass too, or maybe it was the Fed215 primers?

Cheers, Chris

Norma makes 375 Fl brass if you can find an importer.

Thanks Yochanan.

Norma brass is imported into Aus. I did not call different shops due to requiring other nitro cases from Bertram.

Wombat maybe a few dealers, Vic Arms, QGE, Rebel etc. might have some?

Cheers, Chris

Winchester is the importer for Norma and apparently there is some 375 Flanged on its way to Australia at the moment. Bertram is the other choice and it is very good as well.

wombat,

Saw an add in Australia Shooters (?) magazine for them, Norma maybe, they were about $5.50 each if memory serves correct.

Don't have the magazine handy to tell you who was selling them.

I use Kynock snap caps and Norma brass for my WR. I think I bought the snap caps directly from Kynock or Trader Keith?

Bob,

Looked it up int the mag. Was Rebel at about $7/case.

I just ordered some more from Bertram at just under $5 per case various calibers including postage.

Best wishes,

Chris

Wombat, I am in UK at the moment but I think I have a pair of snap caps (Hollands) and about 100 Norma cases. at home in Spain. You can have them. I will post them over when I get back to Spain in about 10 days if you PM me your address, best Mike (some of the cases are primed but I will knock out the primers before I send them. They are all unfired or once fired, best Mike. p.s. send me a reminder in 10 days
