Spandeau Gew98 what bore dia?

Picked up a spandeau Gew 98 sporter. Has 7.93 stamped on the top of the barrel at the receiver. What year did they change for .318 to .323? This rifle is marked 1923.

The change over happened in 1906 or there about's, so yours is definitely on the 323 side, 7.93 is the right size for the 7.92x57 cartridge AKA 8x57 AKA 8 mil Mauser.
