Anyone know about Cearns, in Nairobi? This would have been in the 1920's or 1930's,
possibly earlier?

I speculate it may have been a mercantile supply store/business?
Long ago I had a Model 1903 Mannlicher Schoenauer takedonw 6.5x54 rifle,
roll marked on the barrel was: Cearns, Nairobi
Have often wondered about Cearns? A place where a hunter could rent a rifle?

In the early 90's traded it for a 9.3x62 M-S, so a father could provide
his son in Denver with a 6.5x54. Of course I was wanting a 9.3x62 also.
