Zephyr magazine (clip) info
      #247868 - 25/05/14 02:41 PM

Anyone looking for a magazine (aka: clip) for the Steyr Zephyr .22 carbine/rifle,
this gentleman makes them of high quality. I have one of his magazines and would
compare it to be every bit+ the quality of the originals. I only know the individual
by the exchange of a couple of emails, but he also is a serious Mannlicher Schoenauer
collector. Just saying...

Quoting from one of his emails to me:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
These are “my own blend” since I could not find an extra magazine (clip)
but form, fit and function are the same.
All clips will accept both types of catch.
5-round is 175 US@
10-round is 200 US$
Shipping is 25 US$ (Buy two clips or more and I will include the shipping)
BR Philip

Here is his contact: sparholt@mail.tele.dk
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
He sent me pictures of his magazine, and will you also.
Hope this might be of some help to those needing a magazine for their Zephyr.

Thank you for that info, I have had a couple of them, since sold, but did turn one down that was very cheap as it had no mag/clip, also have seen one with no bolt, now that was a deal breaker !!

I've just ordered one of the 5 shot clips for my Zephyr...........will let you know how it goes when I get it in a week or 2.

If all goes well I'll grab a 10 shotter as well......just in case I ever get on to a big herd of bunnies

Cheers

I know Philip very well and I have seen his gunsmithing handywork.
It is amazing! His attention to detail and craftsmanship is exquisite.

Just bought one again, one of the lower grade models, but still has good sights so not rock bottom, not a patch on my old full wood model & I forgot how high the scope needs to be clear bolt !

Has a magazine luckyly for me.

I see Steyr are making a Zephyr again or still ?
