$USD68 in 1960 is worth approximately $USD535 in today's money.
Not knowing the year of publication of the above document or the $ currency being referenced, I thought it would be useful to use this analogy.
Either way the world was a different place way back then and hunting was a legitimate pursuit encouraged by Governments around the world for cultural and economic benefit.
As a matter of interest what year is this book referring to?

Just read the booklet, it really was an Asian jewel of the time hopefully the war and subsequent years of trauma haven't wiped out the beauty entirely.
Printed for the year 1961 therefore my guess wasn't to far wrong and the exchange rate still applies, great value!!!
