have a look at this outfitter in Wy.
have worked and hunted with Erick. honest, hard working, skilled and pleasant guy. Applications for 2014 non-res. tags closed end of Feb so you would have to wait for 2015.

I've only hunted Elk in Colorado. I never have taken one, but I'd like to try again one day. I've been told that the best value based on dollars is New Mexico.

That being said, I'd probably like to go to Wyoming, Idaho, or Montana for my next attempt, as much to see the country as anything else.

This bit is probably no help to you, other than to keep the conversation going.
