not realy a lee speed I would say its a gunmaker made "sporter" using an outdated military rifle.
the price is with 725 euro not bad for a 375 NE 2,5" but I have the Mannlicher 92.

if it was a .315 India/8x50R I would be tempted.

It looks awfully good for me to consider this a "sporterised military rifle" as listed in the description. If so, the builder did a very good job.

There is no flies on the ol' 303!
I reckon though that the .375 Flanged is just more of a good thing!
Would be fantastic hunters the both of them!

looks like the .375 got a new proof

seems to me this is somekind of a laser engrave instead of the old-school stamp.

theoretically, that wasn't necessary because the old proof mark is still valid.

Not Lee Speed related.

What are the proper names of the .375 H & H Magnum which are Rimmed?°
.375 Super Flanged?
.375 H & H Flanged?

Plus the .300 H & H Magnum rimmed version?
.30 Super Flanged ?
.300 H & H Flanged?

I used to know. But have forgotten. Also sometimes I uses different name as people recognise eg a H&H nomenclature more than the real one.

From my (albeit limited) understanding of British proof marks - looks like the neat new laser engraving denotes a March 2021 proofing.

Very nice indeed. I wish it was in my safe. I note the auction house didn't comment on the condition of the bore. Is this usual for British auction houses?
