Do any of you gents down under (or in the US) know this rifle?

I am trying to swear off big bore Mausers but this thing just plain looks right and I hate to admit it, but I could see loading this thing down and working up mortal man powered loads that shoot to the sights (maybe using the farther leaves for closer ranges than intended)
