Waiting for this to arrive next week. Should be a nice addition to my .257 Roberts and .308 full stock carbines.
Good price and has a Nickel/Marburg scope with Steyr claw mounts. Not in "collector" condition, but I use them for harvesting white tail deer.

Nice, I like.

One question though, how do you harvest a deer with a rifle. Don't you normaly shoot deer with a rifle and harvest crop with a harvester?

We are meat hunters, not trophy. It's considered a harvest because we fill tags for those that cannot and need the meat.

Yes, we do shoot them.

Nice - but I do strongly prefer straight combs, no white lines and without the Weatherby-esk Chinese pillow for a cheek piece.

Except for the white crip-cap spacer, the bottom picture is about perfect- for me. Judging appearances of a rifle or shotgun is all about how a gun appeals to YOU!

Still, I could hunt deer or moose with that rifle, just fine.

Mannlicher Schönauer MC was an export modell designed mainly for US market, for Europe there was Mannlicher mod NO which used to have ordinary straight comb without any white stripe bud pad and bend bold handle.

This will be my 3rd M/S. Great price and scoped were the reason for buying. Unaltered from the factory.
The other two are full stock carbines in .257 Roberts and .308 Winchester(which has the Lyman #36 I bought)

Love these quick handling rifles. Some day a pre war will grace my stable.
