rigby peep sights

Guys, just joined for the lee speed forum but have a mauser questions

Bought a bag of vintage sights because I needed one for my enfields.
In the bag were these 2.


One is marked rigby, the other is unmarked but missing something from the front.


The questions:
Whats missing?
Are the cocking pieces for mauser?
Are they accurate?
Common/scarce?

Yes, Mauser 98's

On the Rigby I tried, yes.
On my WR, yes.


"Common/scarce ?"
You don't see them around that much,
pop up at gun shows and auctions.

ok, not much information but lots of interest of people that could use them.

they do not fit any of my rifles so they will be sold on a 1st come 1st served basis
(no more reactions please, 10 is more than enough)

finally some information was PM-ed

the unmarked sight is most probably a "Rigby Special Aperture Sight" but missing the front disk and screw.




a picture of a similar sight was already on this forum.
