Local guide speared a bear - we thought that was pretty gutsy, but small potatoes compared to a Cape Buffalo!

A little confusing. The title of the post is "Monster Cape Buffalo spared". The title of the video is "Monster Cape Buffalo Speared". Slight difference, especially for the buffalo,

No way to correct it, one can edit a post, not a title.

Interesting about editing - if not mistaken, I'm pretty sure I've always been able to make corrections to the titles - the line in the rectangular box above the post's square .

Ah, it's good to be an administrator.  All those spared have now been speared. The ability to edit a post has a time limit (not sure how long), except for admins.
