Big Day with .577

Hunted some dry country yesterday with my nephew Matt and Jacko one of his mates. We took 14 betweeen us. I used my greener double, Matt a 243 and Jacko a 30/30.
Had a great day with a couple of long shots taken with the double.
Very hot at the moment but received a bit of rain late in the arvo. Heres some pics Cheers Mick

Hey Mick, looks like a great day especially with the 577. I'm heading up to Point Stuart week after next for Magpie Geese and a few pigs, looking forward to it.

Awesome stuff Mick thats a good haul with the double - gotta be bloody hot. I'm out chasing deer with mine next weekend, also going to be pretty warm. Can't wait to get back up North (moving back to Cairns in 4 weeks) to get back into some prime pig country!

I reckon the end of October would be getting quite hot too.

Good to catch up again out on the swamps this arvo, and to meet Matt. Pity the geese and ducks decided not to participate!

Nice tally of porkers for the Fat Lady BTW, add my congrats to the above.
Pleased to see you are keeping her barrels warm on a regular basis!

I am hoping to score something worth bragging about with her replacement in the next week or so, wifey is heading over to Qld to visit rellies so while the cat's away, the mice will be walking the creek-lines!

Thats a good haul with the ole double Mick. Some good pigs in there. It must of been thirsty work in that heat.
