Have a client who gave them a substantial deposit on a new gun, which he never received.

Looks as though they have moved all "assets" from a bankrupt Italian company to the USA and blown off their creditors.

In WW2 Italian tanks had one forward and 5 reverse gears...does that tell you anything?

Not really, companies everywhere are going under and factories closing, not just in Italy...
