Just saw this rifle on GI.
Looks to be a really nice gun but I don't know mannlichers well. Any thoughts?

Nice one ! Seems that itīs built from greek military rifle. Trigger guard looks very similar in both.

Marhold

peterlongo/marhold like allways one of the best in his time!

the stock remember me on Mauser rifle's with long barrel and 2/3 long stock, so called african model. dont thinking I have seen a steyr made rifle with such a stock before at least not in 7x57.

I think this is the same rifle.

A Greek Military action I think also. The lack of the bolt lock spring the first thing that caught my eye.
If it's the same rifle, the close ups shows gaps in the inletting (as do the GunInterN pics if you look closely), engraving of average quality or less.
The pad probably a later addition. Maybe to replace an old pad that had deteriorated or just because someone needed a pad.

Not a bad rifle but for the price I think you could find a factory original Steyr pre War2 commercial product.
