Have seen a couple of these come up for sale in Australia. One was up for $500.00 and lasted about 10 seconds and I was too slow. Would be a fun rifle.

6,5x54 but its not a MS, some kind of a M 88 derivation, maybe a Haenel

looks with this stock like the african modell Mauser

maybe a 60 cm long barrel together with a 50 cm barrel stutzen stock?

That was the first thing I thought, looks like the Africa Mauser.I like the look of it.Like the condition of it as well. Done a bit.

trigger guard looks a little bit to large, maybe because its the common for the double set trigger like here a M 1950 in 6,5x54

and to have the orignal pre war scope and a modern scope fit into the same einhakmontage is a nice bonus.

another unicorn in 7x64 offered as "Mannlicher Schönauer" made or sold by Neuber/ Wiener Neustadt between 1901 and 1939

I would like to see how the mauser magazine is mated with the M 88 receiver. its not so easy!

Here is another very nice looking MS 1924 Sequoia on 0/06 currently for sale. It has neat flip up express sights for 200, 300, & 400 meters, tang sight and Lyman 36 peep sight, It is on GunBroker: https://www.gunbroker.com/Item/1143723727

Stock is refinished/oiled, look at the L side photos, metal likely too. But overall a very nice rifle I would love to have.

don't know if this was factory made or not, to me it looks orignal

whats offered here as "Mannlicher Schönauer Stutzen in 8x57IS" is in reality a hungarian FEG Made G 98/40 military rifle sporterised by an austrian gunmaker
