Well its been raining off and on for 3 days now and I'm at home looking after the dirt magnets. Soooo tomorrow I'm going to try my hand at casting some bullets for my Tower. I'm a first time caster so we'll see how it goes

Havn't started yet...to much rain. I cast a few but my lead is to hard. I got it from a scrap guy in Darwin. He said it was pure but.... Now I have to track down some good stuff. I might go to mitre 10 and see what they've got.

Last time I cast lead bullets was in Italy where a bunch of Italians was watching. They had just finished a big bike race and they was literally exhausted but insisted on watching anyway.

As I had a large pot of molten lead at my side I was cautioned by a policeman to not let any of those "Drained wops" fall into the molten lead.

Bakes go to the local pistol club range and offer to sweep up the air pistol range.
Its a good source of soft lead.
Also try the tyre shop as wheel weights are usually fairly soft.
