I used these to bag my mule deer this year (300+ yrd shot) with me in the sitting position. I used the Steady Stix (3 section legs that unfold from 14" to 39") and they are light and definately steady. They can be found at Cabela's.

Thanks for tip, I've been looking for something that will replace my bipod.

I've been using the Stoney Point Tripod. It took some getting used to, but now, I don't hunt without it.
