Looking at a Marocchi combination gun {Valmet action} and I find quite a bit of side to side play. With the locking bolt held back and the barrels in battery, they can be visibly seen to move side to side. With the bolt locked, the action is tight.

Is this normal?

My Savage 333T trap 12 bore with the Valmet action, was totally tight, up and down and side to side.
The Remington O/U had the same action, didn't it?
I thought at the time, the Savage would have made a good rifle action. Maybe not?
