Milestone Flyrod Capture
      #225183 - 13/02/13 12:39 AM

Still haven't gotten around to photographing my "new" hardware items for the firearm forums, so to stay in touch I'll toss up a recent fishing story.

It seems I'm not the only part-time fly-rodder here:-
in fact, judging by recent posts it could be re-named the Flyfishing Forum!

So here's the details of my latest piscatorial diversion with the long wand!

Hope you enjoy the story.

Thanks Marrakai, very enjoyable story, thanks for sharing. It is the right thing to release a juvenile, but my mouth was watering, I haven't eaten marlin for a long time. It is delicious meat.

You have fine tastes. Double rifles and Fly rods. And to be able to be able to share it with other like mined sportsmen in the form of photo's and the written word if just tops.

Big day on the water for sure there!
Great story and nice photos.
If you get the time can you get us a closer look at the gear?
I've never done open water fly fishing.
Sounds like a heck of an experience.

Cheers

Well done, all the more satisfying on your own fly.
Bone fish have destroyed all other fly fishing for me. Must make the effort to get back to Kiritimas ( xmas Island).
Cheers Mick
