Not my biggest, or widest, or most classically shaped, or dare I say most beautiful, (beauty of course, held in the eye of the beholder, even in the case of Cape Buffalo), but EASILY my oldest bull.
I'm holding the one from this year, the one on the wall is from 2008.

Now that's a cracker. Well done
He's old and heavy (can tell its heavy by the bulging biceps ) and he’s a really nice shape.
If I managed to take one like that with my single shot 500NE, it would certainly put a huge smile on my face.
Best ALEX

Absolute beauty! That's a lovely buffalo, nothing wrong with him!
My 2009 buffalo wasn't the widest and he wasn't the heaviest but he was certainly old. Pale grey in colour, very parse hair and baling with a heavily scarred hide. One of his horns was split from the lowest point of the hook right up to the tip and he gad rocks and dirt and bark wedged in the split. Age is a beautiful thing on a buffalo, I saw a scrum-cap bull the other day that I thought was brilliant.

That is a nice old Buff. He certainly has seen a good many sunrises. I would love to have one as good as that hanging on my wall.

Very nice. Most of the beauty of a trophy is in the memories of the hunt.
