Looking around gun in hand for a change.

I was thinking of a freezer filler to keep me going so I grabbed my 7mm and headed off tonight thinking about donging one.
Well as usual they are on "the other side" and three fed down a wattley bank out of the cover above,hmmm fat calf,yeah!

After taking a few pics in the rain I scanned for a possible stag and saw this a mile away ............

Jayzuz look at all those knobs ffs!

So I`m off,I want to get a pic of that bloke so marking a tree on the other side I went down 800 and got to the bottom to a sword grass creek and ran into this bloke...aaaahhh f**K me! why now you baastard! So I snapped off 8 pics then headed up the other side.

He kept feeding along and to get to the red bull I HAD to pass him ...fark!

Wind swirl... up with his head and downstream he went,no honk thank phuck!

Heading up the other side with it looking so different I cut in twice too low and realising my forays into the gutter were wrong I headed higher and then got into some tight bracken thinking "he must be here somewhere" then I saw his big fat red aarse facing me as he was feeding,shiit! I`m right on top of him,steady up!
He swung his head and I thought 38 wide at least and with the bow in his antlers just as long with more growing and look at all those knobs.

Well I took a shiit pic through the ferns and then another stag above him took off and he went too ..that was it,my chance of some good pics gone with the swirly wind.

Gotta love sword grass. It ranks right up there with hakea bush.
