We got some cold weather and snow over the weekend..almost a foot fell over 2 days..made for some great hunting albeit a bit cold as you can tell by the Gatorade bottle ...was -8 F Sunday morning with a 15mph breeze...made for a really quiet stalk and fun hunt...
My friend shot this buck on the 2nd day out...while not a monster--interesting deer..and a great time with a friend...

Nice - way to go. Lets see, -15F - that's about -25C - nope, staying indoors and shooting the air rifle, playing on the computer or loading ammo. I'm getting too old that that stuff. 30 years ago, NP - loved it.

Absolutely, stunningly beautiful scenery, and a nice buck to boot...love that junk hanging off him. What camera and lens are you using...the majority of your photos are ab fab.

Very nice deer but way too cold for me. 8 below is the reason I hunt with a longbow in September, sunny and 70 degrees for me.

I have several..but packing in hunting I normally just use a point and shoot...this was a basic panasonic with a zeiss lense...does a good job for the price..but it is on its last leg..going to get a different one for hunting/packing along...
thx

Great pics and a nice hunt as well. Those kinds of views are one of the things I really miss since we moved away from Wyoming. I miss the Elk hunting as well...Kansas just doesn't have enough elk or mountains.
